Brookings’ Falk Auditorium supports events for the people in the room and audiences following remotely. The auditorium and production control room bring presentation, camera coverage, sound, and broadcast functions into one connected environment.
ITI’s assignment covered the audiovisual hardware and systems integration for the auditorium buildout. It extended from equipment receipt and staging through installation, system programming, commissioning, and handover documentation.

One connected production workflow.
The project design brings a direct-view LED presentation wall and supporting displays together with cameras, microphones, loudspeakers, and press-audio distribution. Its purpose is to connect the event taking place in the auditorium with the sources and controls used by the production team.
Behind the room, the design combines video routing and processing, networked AV transport, audio processing, program monitoring, media playback, and recording. Conferencing integration sits alongside those production functions, providing for participation beyond the auditorium.
Programming, commissioning, and documentation form the final part of ITI’s defined assignment. The handover scope includes as-built drawings, configuration information, control source code, and operating and maintenance materials, to provide the client with a technical record of the integrated environment.
